Job Description:

Our client, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) based in the US, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development and commercialization efforts!

Location: Union County, NJ

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing interactions with international suppliers for importing isotopes
  • Support the end-to-end process of ordering, import clearance, and delivery of isotopes to the facility
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with couriers for both inbound and outbound shipments
  • Coordinate the distribution of finished pharmaceutical products to clinics and end-users
  • Facilitate the processing of final orders for pharmaceutical products for CDMO clients using email and the company online ordering portal
  • Prepare and maintain transportation documentation, including hazardous material declarations
  • Update and manage clinical site information using Excel spreadsheets and the company portal
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with GDP (Good Documentation Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
  • Monitor shipment statuses and provide timely updates to end-users and the internal team
  • Comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and ALARA safety practices when handling pharmaceutical packages
  • Assist with the final packaging of hazardous materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a technical field or High School Diploma/ G.E.D
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project, etc.) and experience with electronic record-keeping systems
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/ warehouse
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DOT and IATA Hazardous Material Certifications
  • Familiarity with Customs Compliance and International Trade Regulations
  • Prior experience in pharmaceuticals
