Summary:

• The Supply Chain Specialist should ideally possess a combination of skills and attributes to excel in their role, including Analytical, Technical Expertise, Communication and Problem Solving. Having these qualities enables the Supply Chain Specialist to navigate the challenges of the role and contribute significantly to the success of the production efforts in our manufacturing world.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in in projects, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful implementation

• Analyze Supply Chain Processes: Evaluate current supply chain operations to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

• Develop and Implement Strategies: Create strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.

• Manage Supplier Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

• Optimize Logistics: Improve Logistics processes to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods. Ensure compliance with regulations pertaining to transporting goods across international borders

• Implement Cost Saving Measures: Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.

• Process Improvement: Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain, implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.

• Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain performance.

• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed production reports and records for decision-making and analysis.

• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure production activities comply with relevant industry standards and government regulations.

Must Haves:

• Proficient verbal and written communication in both English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) required.

• Ability to identify issues within supply chain and develop effective solutions

• Process Optimization: Strong skillset in streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Manage multiple projects including planning, execution, and monitoring.

• Strong understanding of cost structures and ability to implement cost-saving measures.

• Understanding of industrial engineering concepts to design and optimize supply chain processes.

• Attention to Detail and strong organizational Skills

• Communication Skills: Effective written/verbal communication skills with vendors and internal departments.

• Active Listening: Understanding feedback and able to clarify information and apply it to finding a resolution.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain or related field.

• Efficient and Proficient in Lean Manufacturing Practices.

• Proven Experience working with International Suppliers and Global Logistics.

• Experience working with Supply Chain Management Software preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.

• Standing for entire shift

• Manual Dexterity
