Supply Chain Specialist contingent on upcoming government contract award.
Responsibilities: - Procure products and services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation
- Establish a global supply chain for designated products and services
- Identify potential issues before they arise
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Develop procurement SOPs
- Responsible for regular and ad hoc reporting and providing management information as required
- Manage the sourcing and buying process to ensure products are delivered on time and according to quality, specifications and budgets
- Coordinate property tracking in compliance with USG regulations
- Prepare and issue enquiries, requisitions, and purchase orders according to project schedule
- Negotiate with Suppliers to obtain globally competitive price, delivery, and contract terms
- Work directly with contract management to ensure all goals are met
Requirements: - U.S. citizenship
- 3-5 years of supply chain, procurement or purchasing experience with
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma and 4 additional years of sourcing experience.
- Knowledge of government purchasing procedures and practice
- Knowledge of USG Regulations
- Ability to work with dynamic requirements
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, communication, and database management
