Position Overview:

The Seasonal Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for supporting freight activities related to claims and domestic outbound shipments. Reporting to the Outbound Supply Chain Manager, our Seasonal Supply Chain Specialist will be the secondary contact for claims processing and provide support to the Outbound Supply Chain team with freight inquiries and bookings. On occasion, this position will act as a liaison with freight providers and Kendra Scott business partners both internal and external. This is a high-energy environment looking for a passionate supply chain member to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Claims Processing (80%)

  • Supports UPS and PFS Claims Processing
  • Investigates customer and store claims submitted to UPS, DHL, and FedEx
  • Reviews, edits, submits and uploads required supporting documentation such as receipts, invoices and purchase orders
  • Tracks the status of claims through to completion and reports on payment

Transportation Support (15%)

  • Engages freight provider to book LTL/FTL shipments as requested from cross-functional teams
  • Creates BOLs for outbound wholesale freight shipments and coordinates with freight carriers for shipment scheduling
  • Monitors shipment insurance requests (engagement ring, high dollar shipments, etc…) and submits for additional coverage as needed

Administrative (5%)

  • Supports outbound communication with internal and external partners
  • Supports department as needed on special projects

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years' experience in a supply chain support role
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Applications
  • Analytical/Strong Attention to detail
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • Previous supply chain experience a plus
  • A shared appreciation for our 3 core values of Family, Fashion and Philanthropy
