Job Summary

Job Description

The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for leading a Supply Chain team and collaborating with key business stakeholders to execute appropriate overall strategies for the various procurement categories.

Your responsibilities may include:

+ Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities and support implementation

+ Ensure identification and appropriate management of vendors. Where appropriate, leverage enterprise size and scale strategies across categories, consistent with overall objectives

+ Provide supply chain guidance to team and business stakeholders

+ Provide support to team to ensure resolution of procurement issues, management the evaluation of supplier performance, and that contract terms and conditions are favorable to ConocoPhillips

+ Ensure contract portfolio supports buy channel processes being effective and efficient

+ Ensures compliance with ConocoPhillips standards and business requirements and role models leadership behaviors and SPIRIT values

+ Participates in team career discussions to lead career development across the team

Basic/Required:

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer

+ Bachelors degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, related field, or foreign equivalent

+ 5 or more years of experience in supply chain management supporting upstream oil and gas

+ Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis

Preferred:

+ 10 or more years of experience in supply chain management supporting upstream oil and gas

+ 1 or more years of experience leading a team

+ Advanced level of proficiency in a wide range of sourcing & contracting processes and post-award contract management

+ Advanced knowledge of contracting compliance issues, procedures, specifications, and documentation requirements

+ Deep understanding of key categories

+ Strong functional background or working knowledge of ConocoPhillips procurement systems

+ Proven ability to handle the entire range of supply chain activities required in support of well operations

+ Strong leadership skills as a self-starter, able to readily assume responsibility for all procurement and contracting activities

+ Proven effective organizational and managerial skills

+ Responds inventively, flexibly and positively when faced with challenges and demands

+ Actively seeks out diverse people and organizations to collectively achieve business goals

+ Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged views, then positively influences and acts to improve performance and achieve results

+ Builds positive relationships based on trust and effectively collaborates across organizational boundaries to achieve goals

+ Takes ownership of actions and follows through on dedications by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
