Supply Chain Support Analyst
IMCD US currently has an opening for a Supply Chain Support Analyst. This role is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Westlake, Ohio.

The Support Analyst is responsible for providing support to the assigned analysts by fielding inquiries regarding product information, customer orders, and principal related questions. The Support Analyst will work in conjunction with the principal, sales, internal departments, and warehouses to solve all issues and questions. They partner with other team members to explore opportunities for process improvements while instilling the company's core values into the day-to-day operations of the department.
Successful candidates will be responsible to:
Handles projects and provides support services to assigned analysts by fielding inquiries regarding product, order, and principal related questions.
Communicates order updates to Customer Service Department regarding ETAs and utilizes backorder reports to proactively follow-up with principals on backorders.
Updates and maintains product representation portfolio, including article numbers, country of origin, shipping point, temperature requirements, shelf life, package weight, order strategy, and lead times.
Ensures Principal Playbooks are accurate.
Processes advanced ship notices, order confirmations, and receipts accurately and within guidelines and alert assigned analyst of any potential issues.
Processes and handles material damage, short shipments, and returns while notifying appropriate departments.
Resolves conflicts by assisting team, warehouses, principals, sales, and internal departments.
Assists other team members, as needed, to achieve departmental goals.
Develops and completes projects to improve processes and procedures as part of 90-day action items and submit updates weekly.
Participates in ongoing education to improve personal and job skills which includes attending monthly APICS meeting, webinars, cross training, etc.
Attends and participates in department meetings and joint customer service meetings.
Participates in annual physical inventories, at warehouses, as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or three years equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This job currently operates on a hybrid schedule rotating between in-office and remote work environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.
Travel
Some travel is expected for this position.
