Supply Chain System Analyst
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing support to the business as a key user in SAP, EDI, TMS Oracle and other systems while providing enhancements, analysis and reporting across all logistic functions. Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations. Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain and may suggest improvements or resolutions to problems. Additional responsibilities include:
* Ability to learn new business areas and processes quickly
* Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to solve business problems
* Utilize and build out dashboards and reports
* Proactively plan, initiate, and develop easy-to-use query tools, dashboards and reports
* Collect, organize, and analyze real-time and historical data to enhance the performance of all areas of Supply Chain
* Support the investigation, solutioning, testing, training, and implementation of improved processes and/or systems.
* Initiate new functionality and support related teams with the implementation of new process or system changes.
* Help support and maintain Transportation Management System (Oracle) System and help develop transportation related improvements in this space.
* Support EDI processes, troubleshoot issues and help implement new EDI connections with vendors and customers.
* Assume the responsibility to work with ISIT on any changes or projects assigned.
* Support for day to day maintenance or system operations and required testing for approved projects.
* Support the development of training materials for process or system changes.
* Performs other related functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
* 1+ years of System Experience (i.e. SAP, TMS, EDI, or other IT related systems)
* Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone or with limited supervision
* Ability to take initiative to identify and initiate improvements across various processes and systems
* Ability to organize and present information to wide variety of people
* Excellent skills in organization, prioritizing and managing time
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Advanced in Microsoft Office applications
