Summary:
Ensure that supplies are ordered and received. Deliver supplies and maintain the Central Supply Department in a clean, organized and functional condition. Receive and distribute supplies throughout the organization and maintains control of supplies and equipment for all hospital departments.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
* High School diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE
* Store room area or inventory control experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
* Complete arithmetic computations
* Maintain a large store room containing a variety of medical and other supplies and equipment
* Prepare and maintain records of requisition
* Read, understand and maintain records of purchase orders and storeroom operations
* Plan and efficiently arrange the storage of a variety of supplies and equipment
* Maintain inventory records to insure adequate stock
