About the job Supply Management Specialist Summary: Staff Finders Technical is seeking a Supplier Resourcing Project Manager to manage urgent supplier projects and ensure consistent supply to our Waterloo site. This role involves handling prototype requests, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and building strong internal and external relationships. A background in business management or supply chain is required, with SAP and data visualization experience (Power BI) as a plus.Job duties:
- This role will manage and implement urgent supplier resourcing projects related to capacity to ensure consistent supply to Waterloo.
- This role will also support day to day activities related to prototype requests and/or spot buys to support Continuous Improvement and resourcing efforts.
- This role is responsible for continuous improvement workflow tasks supporting change within Waterloo Tractor.
Requirements:
- Ability to investigate, own, and resolve complex and often ambiguous problem statements and drive to resolution.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to create and maintain new relationships internally with other functions and externally with the supply base to meet team objectives
- Self-starter with the ability to gather data and other inputs to make decisions and act.
- BA in Business MGMT, Supply Chain, or another related field
