Job Description
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Coordinate production plans with Lennox manufacturing plants and external suppliers to ensure proper product mix and desired inventory levels utilizing capacity rates, lead-time, level loading, safety days of supply, safety stock and pre-building scheduling techniques.
* Monitor actual production to planned production, fill rates, inventory balances, working capital reports and respond to out-of-tolerance conditions.
* Determine the best metrics to use to identify and address supply issues.
* Develop new and innovative methods of analyzing data and determine which methods to apply.
* Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks with respect to product availability.
* Develop strong relationships and collaboration with manufacturing plants, demand planning, supply planning, deployment planning, product management, transportation, sales and customer service to meet business goals.
* Proactively communicate any service issues related to stock availability, and coordinate resolution, involving all facets of planning appropriately.
* Identify planning system and process improvements.
* May guide, provide direction, and training to less experienced team members.
Qualifications
* Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business Administration.
* Requires at least 1 year Production Planning and/or Inventory Management experience.
* Experience with advanced planning tools, preferably SAP IBP.
* Possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
* Good understanding of best practices in supply planning.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and training skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and solid Customer Relations skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
