DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Supply Technician to support the US Navy in Hanahan, SC.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for the supply chain of NOTM/LAV project, including acquisition, distribution, and disposal of products and material.Manage material using Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) tools.Monitor, correct, and report material record discrepancies.Reconcile receiving, shipping, and warehouse inventory reports.Document, track, and report daily deliveries, shipments, and internal material movements.Collaborate with material handlers and other warehouse/logistics staff to ensure timely, efficient packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) of material.Mentor team members and assist Logistics Lead in daily coordination.Audit inventory and material handling processesCollaborate with vendors to follow up on lead times of material ordered.QualificationsRequired Education and Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDFive (5) years of experience, to include:Supervisory or warehouse lead at a DoD facilityFinancial managementLogistics support for projects involving electronic / electrical and installation, ordering acquisition, distribution of material, equipment and resources.Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelProficiency in CMPRODesired Qualifications:Forklift certification.Clearance Requirement:Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Public Trust security clearance.
