Location: Suffolk,VA, USA
The Supply Technician is responsible for performing shipping, receiving, and inventory management duties within a warehouse environment. This part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week) is located onsite at Portsmouth and St. Julien's Creek Annex. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with a preference for those who have handled IT equipment and are familiar with CMPro software. The role requires an active SECRET clearance and does not involve travel.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods.
+ Manage inventory control, including tracking, storing, and maintaining accurate records of materials and supplies.
+ Handle IT equipment and ensure proper inventory and storage practices are followed.
+ Utilize inventory management software (experience with CMPro is a plus) to track materials, orders, and shipments.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely fulfillment of inventory needs.
+ Ensure that all shipping and receiving processes adhere to relevant security protocols, especially regarding classified or sensitive materials.
**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management within a warehouse environment.
+ Experience handling IT equipment is preferred.
+ Experience with CMPro software is a plus.
+ Active SECRET clearance is required.
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
