We believe that the only way to predict the future is to INVENT it.What you'll be doingThe Support Assistant will help the office and engineering teams with complex non-technical repetitive tasks. You will work with multiple cross functional teams on a wide variety of duties. You assist the engineering, operations, and HR teams in a fast-paced dynamic work environment. This is a part-time (28 hours per week) job with a duration of (approximately 2 months). The work schedule is will be Monday through Thursday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.Engineering Support DutiesConduct routine manual testing of wireless Virtual Realty systemsConfigure workspaces and lab areas for VR setups and testingConduct and document automated test of the wireless network.Support the engineering team as required.Operations Support DutiesDaily ongoing check of kitchen area, conference rooms, lab, and office area for cleanliness.Monitor company provided food supplies. Order and replenish, as necessary.Perform daily refilling and maintenance on coffee machine.Keep breakroom clean and orderly.Running errands and making deliveries around the office or to externalWhat you will bring to VirewirxHigh School diploma, some college experience is preferredExperience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and WordHighly organized with demonstrated effective communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone and in emailAbility to receive, understand and carry out detailed instructions, ability to coordinate multiple activities with varying timeframes and deadlinesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with unexpected changes in requirementsAbility to safely lift, push and pull up to 30 pounds with or without a wheeled cart
