The primary role will be to provide administrative support to for a local partner (Latino Merchants Association) and two Rutgers offices (Rutgers Global Health Institute and the Center for Local Supply Chain Resiliency).Among the key duties of the position are the following:Maintains list of local partners.Updates the website and Facebook page as needed.Keeps track of Latino Merchants Association's memberships.Answers phone calls, emails and all other inquiries.Manages the events calendar.Assists with the planning of both business and health events.Distributes flyers for events and helps with event setup.Schedules meetings between Rutgers Global Health Institute, Rutgers Center for Local Supply Chain Resiliency, and Latino Merchants Association, visiting local businesses, sharing relevant information with local businesses and other general administrative support for the partnership between Rutgers Center for Local Supply Chain Resiliency, Rutgers Global Health Institute and Latino Merchants Association.Position StatusPart TimeHours Per Week19.99Daily Work ShiftWork ArrangementFLSANonexemptPosition Salary$25.00Payroll DesignationPeopleSoftTerms of AppointmentTemporary Staff Appointment - HourlyQualificationsMinimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Certifications/LicensesPreferred QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesComfortable with Microsoft Office tools and the overall use of a computer.Must be fluent in English and Spanish.Must be able to not just speak but to read and write in Spanish.Equipment UtilizedMust be familiar with all Microsoft Office tools and the overall use of a computer.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentEvent coordination and planning will be a part of this position.
