POSITION SUMMARY LBMC Technology Solutions is currently seeking a junior level Support Engineer/Admin to add to the team in the Nashville or Knoxville office. Qualified candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, high levels of integrity and the ability to communicate technical knowledge to an individual's capacity for understanding. The right person for this role must be capable of maintaining focus, completing task loads and responding to customer requests in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Candidates should have experience supporting Windows Server and desktop environments and Apple products. Experience with firewalls, cloud technologies (i.e. Office 365, AWS, Azure) and networking is a plus. PRIMARY DUTIES | RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remote client interaction and infrequent onsite visits
- Assist clients with support cases.
- Performance monitoring and remediation for clients' systems
- Utilize monitoring, remote control, management and other tools to support clients.
- End user computer setups and imaging
- Support and troubleshoot security and firewall-based solutions
- Support and troubleshoot cloud-based solutions
- Deploy and support various applications, as needed by clients.
QUALIFICATION | SKILLS
- 2+ years Information Technology experience required
- Experience with Windows Server/Active Directory support
- Microsoft and general IT certifications are a plus
- Experience with end user support and excellent interpersonal skills is required
- Ability to perform required tasks with minimal supervision
- Thrives in a dynamic work environment
- Can work well individually and in a team environment
- Apple support experience is required
- Attention to detail, integrity and well-developed time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, such as: IP addressing, subnet masks, basic IP routing, TCP/UDP
- Support of backup solutions; on premise and cloud based.
