Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ability to operate a forklift • Able to secure loaded hopper/drums before traveling • Closing and sealing loaded drums before traveling • Staging hoppers/drums at destination • Perform all duties safely, effectively and efficiently • Adhere to all company policies and procedures • Participate in daily Safety / Quality talks • Report all incidents and near misses • Perform all daily housekeeping duties including picking up trash in your area, clean up any pills, clean drains and break rooms • Comply with cross training as required • Understand and comply with all safety regulations • Ask questions concerning product integrity, product shortages or equipment quality • Other duties as trained and assigned. ResponsibilitiesPosition Requirements EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE / SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: • Must have at least one year of experience operating a forklift. • Must be able to understand and comply with all requirements for any emergency • Must be able to take direction from supervision and work cooperatively with other people • Must be able to work shift work hours/weekends and Holidays • Must be able to communicate and comprehend clearly, verbally and in writing, in English COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Basic math skills • Basic competency using Microsoft office (Outlook) • Must be able to understand and communicate in English • Must meet physical requirements, including, but not limited to: consistently lifting/carrying and pulling/pushing weights/forces up to 50 pounds, routinely gripping forces of up to 50 pounds, routine walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending and squatting, climbing up/down ladders and stairs/standing/sitting, and negotiating uneven and moving surfaces • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus WORKING CONDITIONS: Will be required to work outside in all types of weather throughout the year • Must be able to work extended hours and overtime as needed including call outs. • Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines • Applicants subject to background check and drug screening CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSES REQUIRED * *Must have VALID Driver's License
