Performs a variety of technical clerical duties which includes greeting the public, screening and directing telephone calls, and performing a variety of clerical duties such as entering reports, scanning documents, and transcribing reports from tapes, into the computer system. - Hiring range for this position is between $25.64- $27.46 per hour (steps 1-3), depending upon qualifications. - Progressive increases are based upon years of service with Skagit County, up to step 8 (top step is $32.62/hr.). The Support Services Technician is Range 8 of the Sheriff Support Staff Guild salary schedule.
