SUPPORT STAFFHOST/HOSTESS - FOOD RUNNER - BUSSERHIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR PART TIME SEASONAL POSITIONS!* Location: Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025* Schedule: Part-time, seasonal shifts that may include weekends and/or holidays.* Perks: Tips, discount and more!POSITION SUMMARY:The Support Staff is responsible for upholding the roles of Host/Hostess, Food Runner and Busser.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Able to politely and cheerfully greet and seat guests.* Able to provide excellent customer service in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.* Ensure proper plating, including additions and/or substitutions prior to bringing food to guests.* Assist wait staff in bussing, cleaning and re-setting tables.* Maintain a clean and safe work area.* Restock work area.JOB REQUIREMENTS:* Must be able to work within an established timeframe to achieve the common goal of customer satisfaction.* Must have excellent communication skills with an energetic and fun attitude.* Must have flexible availability.* General food safety knowledge.* Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis.* Must be 14 years of age or older.* Must be able to bend, stand and walk for extended periods of time.SKILLS & ABILITIES:* Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.* Communication - Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken word.* Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs and exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others while following company procedures.* Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.* Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.* Detail oriented - Strong attention to detail.* Safety - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.Running Aces strongly encourages all of our new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; however, it is not mandatory for consideration for employment.
