Our mission is to provide shelter for up to 30 people when no other shelter can be found. This is accomplished through a partnership with local churches and community service agencies. Gettysburg C.A.R.E.S. consists of a cold weather shelter and a Resource Center geared to provide support to our guests. With Over 500 trained volunteers , our program director, and four part time staff, we are able to maintain our Shelter and Resource Center programming. We are very grateful and blessed to have so many people and organizations who want to help improve the lives of our homeless neighbors. Our staff, Board of directors, and our homeless guests thank you for your contributions to Gettysburg C.A.R.E.S.

SUPPORT STAFF CASE MANAGERS

GETTYSBURG C.A.R.E.S. is seeking motivated support staff case managers for Sunday thru Wednesday or Monday thru Thursday from 4 pm-8:30 pm (there is flexibility). CARES is also looking for overnight staff while the guests sleep. Bachelor's degree is preferred but not necessary. C.A.R.E.S. assists homeless guests in obtaining permanent housing and a place to stay while that process proceeds. The salary is $18.00/hr.
