What We Ask of You:
  • Assist with diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Manage IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, printers, etc., with the installing, configuring, and overall maintenance
  • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, either remotely or in person
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates, backups, and antivirus scans and monitor for performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to deploy new hardware, software, or system upgrades
  • Document support activities, procedures, and solutions for future reference
  • Assist with user training sessions and workshops on IT tools, systems, and applications
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely resolution of support requests
Experience & Competencies:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, and associate's degree or technical certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support roles, with hands-on experience in hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Must be familiar with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common productivity applications
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end-users of varying technical levels
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are desirable
  • Must have the integrity, enthusiasm and willingness to represent company in the most professional, positive manner
Danforth offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, 401(k), with company match, and participation in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The estimated compensation range for this role is $57,000-$67,000. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location. John W.
