Provides overall direction on wide range of Integrated Resilience, Airmen and Family Readiness, Professional Development, Strategic Partnership/Communication, Developing Resilient Leaders and other community programs. Additionally, provides training to reservist in the accomplishment of the tasks.RESPONISBILITIES:1. As Division Chief, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Division. Formulates program goals, plans, policies, and procedures and work plans dealing with the development and operation of command-wide Integrated Resilience/Airman and Family and Professional Development functions and activities; participates in providing both technical and administrative direction to subordinate branch chiefs and through them their assigned nonsupervisory employees.2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher level management or headquarters. Selects candidates for subordinate non-supervisory positions and recommends selections for subordinate supervisory positions taking into consideration skills and qualifications and mission requirements.3. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with DoD, AF, AFRC and other MAJCOM leaders. The incumbent must meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. The incumbent's regular assignments are primarily ART duties; however, the incumbent may also be assigned non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities. Work schedules will be so aligned to allow the individual to function fully on unit training assembly (UTA) weekends.2. This is an AFRC key management position, in which, the incumbent is required to formulate, determine, and/or influence policies. Must be highly knowledgeable of the AFRC mission and responsibilities.3. This is a designated key position. The term key as it is used here relates to the ART program that defines the position as critical to mobilization capability (i.e., formulates, determines or influences policies of the unit to which assigned), and has no relationship to the term key as defined in AFI 36-507.4. This position is designated as a mobility position. Incumbent must be willing to move/transfer to another unit/location on a lateral or promotion basis as directed by HQ AFRC. AFRC command-wide geographic mobility is a condition of employment for all ART Officer positions.5. Must possess demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities essential to successful accomplishment of responsibilities inherent in this position.6. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a top secret security clearance.7. This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP). The employee is subject to random drug testing. As members of Reserve units, Air Reserve Technicians receive on average one weekend of military training per month.
