Our client in New Kensington, PA is searching for a Surface Grinder to add to their manufacturing team. Job Description: - Responsible for set up, programming, and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments and tools - Work with blueprints, sketches and CAD files - Set up and operate grinding equipment to manufacture tooling components - Grind machine parts to high tolerance specifications Job Requirements Job Requirements: - Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent - 5+ years of working experience in similar manufacturing and grinding environment - Ability to read blueprints and CAD documents - Need to be able to accurately use measuring instruments i.e. micrometers, dial indicators, comparators, gauge blocks, etc. - Must be able to push a minimum of 100 pounds and lift 50 pounds unassisted
