As a Surface Prep Product Specialist, you will be responsible for expanding the company's market share by applying a hands-on approach in demonstrating product applications to prospective clients. There is tremendous opportunity to increase the team's presence in the industries using these products - and you will have the advantage of leveraging brand strength in other commercial markets.Typical work includes conducting extensive research on potential client applications, scheduling/executing demonstrations at the clients' actual work site and ultimately making product/applications recommendations that best serve the clients' needs. This is not a suit and tie job.You will be on mining, construction and other industrial sites putting the equipment to work. You will need to bring to the table a strong customer service/sales aptitude (ability to listen and to influence) as well as basic technical aptitude to problem-solve technical issues as needed. You will be supported by a technical team as well as Area Sales managers.This is a new position being created because of tremendous growth in the market. You will work from home. Territory includes 1) Texas 2) Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, AK) 3) Upstate ( NY, VT, ME, NH ). Candidates must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, a central location within the respective territory.You will see approximately 60% overnight travel with the flexibility to build your own schedule.This is a base + commission role with a base KPI bonus opportunity / 2% uncapped commission on company product category in your first year (commissions paid quarterly).
