Hamilton Memorial Hospital District has an immediate opening for a PRN Surgery RN. At HMHD our mission is to enhance the delivery of healthcare to our community and the surrounding area by providing accessible quality healthcare services. HMHD utilizes the premier electronic medical record system EPIC with My Chart as an amenity for patients and staff.The Surgery RN performs the primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all assigned patients, ages newborn thru geriatrics in Post-Anesthesia/Operating Room on a 24 hour basis. Is responsible for meeting the established Surgical Standards of Nursing Practice and Standards of Post Anesthesia Nursing Practice (as adopted from A.O.R.N. and A.S.P.A.N.), for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment in the post Anesthesia/Operating Room and for promoting teamwork with Physicians and personnel of other departments. They perform duties involving the care, packaging, cleaning, inventory control and charging of items and supplies utilized in the hospital.#J-18808-Ljbffr
