Our team at Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute-Sports Medicine (NHOI-Sports Medicine) offers comprehensive care and personalized services based entirely around the needs of athletes. As a center for orthopedics and sports medicine, our team takes care of your every need - from injury prevention to performance services and athletic training to orthopedic surgery. We provide services for athletes of all ages, including orthopedic and sports medicine care for children, across a wide range of specialties.

Responsibilities:

To function as a physician extender as part of an orthopedic team to assist in the office and OR. Practice focus on adult and pediatric sports medicine, but also general orthopedics. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational skills

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

• Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers (BOC-ATC)
• Licensed by the Georgia Board of Athletic Trainers (Licensed Athletic Trainer-LAT) Surgical requirements (ATC-OTC-SC).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an orthopedic setting.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

• Orthopedic Technologist-Certified (OTC) thru the National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologist (NBCOT)
