Preferred: AAS in Surgical Assisting or Surgical Technologist* *Years of Experience: *Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical First Assistant; or 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience* *Certification: *Basic Life Support-American Heart Association* _*Preferred*_: National Surgical Assistant Certification issued by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or the National Commission for Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA)* *License: *Must meet licensure criteria and be licensed as Surgical Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire.*About Inova Health System*Inova is Northern Virginia's leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
