OR Nurse
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Employment Type: Full-time, Tuesday-Thursday, 7 am-6 pm (No Weekends)
Compensation: $100,000 - $105,000 plus bonus opportunity

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced OR Nurse to lead patient care operations at our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Somerset County. This role requires a strong commitment to clinical excellence and effective collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and ASC specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile operating room environment.
- Assist the surgical team and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
- Document all aspects of the surgical procedure, including the patient's condition and any medications or fluids administered.
- Oversee patient care activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Coordinate with vendors to support seamless surgical operations.
- Provide high-quality patient care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
- Offer guidance and support to nursing staff, particularly in complex cases.
- Participate in continuous education to stay current with nursing practices.
- Assist ASC leadership in setting and reviewing operational goals.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and AAAHC standards.
- Promote patient safety by identifying and mitigating risks.
- Manage OR schedules to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
- Work with procurement to ensure adequate inventory of surgical supplies.
- Oversee staffing schedules for effective resource utilization.
- Conduct daily/monthly Environment of Care (EOC) checks to ensure protocol adherence.

Qualifications:
- Current New Jersey State Nursing License.
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 5 years of perioperative nursing experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
