Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care and medical procedures.Responsibilities:- Prepare operating rooms for surgery- Set up surgical instruments and equipment- Assist the surgical team during procedures- Maintain a sterile field during surgery- Pass instruments to surgeons during procedures- Monitor and manage surgical equipment- Clean and restock operating roomsQualifications:- Previous experience in a surgical setting preferred- Knowledge of pediatric and emergency medicine procedures- Familiarity with working in a Level II Trauma Center- Understanding of medical records and Epic software- Proficiency in anatomy and aseptic techniques- Ability to adhere to infection control protocols- Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center is a plusThis position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where teamwork and patient care are paramount.
