Job Description: - Participate in surgical services supporting multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent procedures.- Work in a unit with a daily case load of 80 across 22 rooms, maintaining proficiency with equipment such as the DaVinci robot.- Engage in potential call duties, including one or two 12-hour call shifts every 2 weeks as needed.- Participate as required in storm or hurricane teams, or during catastrophic events, providing critical surgical support.- Expected to float within hospital units or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed, based on skill sets and census requirements.- Contract staff will not be allowed RTO (requested time off) after booking, except in the case of call-offs or additional circumstances on unit, which could result in contract cancellation.- Must work two out of three major holidays during the contract.- Participate in an 8-hour orientation, and complete required modules based on specialty pre-start and annually through online learning or other session formats.- Must be flexible and open to potential floating to different units within the hospital as needed.
