Unit NotesDepartment: OR | Tech*Required Certifications: BLS, NBSTA- CST.*- # Suites: 8- Average # of cases per day: 25-36- Required Certifications: BLS, NBSTA- CST- Common Cases: General, ortho, neuro (shunts, aneurysm, cranis), spine (lamis, fusions, scoliosis), GYN, ENT, Eyes, urology, podiatry, vascular (fem-pop bypasses), robotics (DaVinci XI), and more- Experience: Need to be familiar with most cases in the OR. Must have General, Ortho, & GYN experience. Prefer Robotics experience. Will consider first-time travelers.- Charge Nurse: Designated Charge. Manager is supportive and can be found rounding in the OR.- Job Duties: Setting up room, collecting and organizing equipment for cases, scrubbing and assisting in cases, room turnovers, assisting other staff as needed, and more. - EMR: Allscripts- Shifts & Scheduling: Open M-F. Shifts: 0630-1500, 1100-1930, 1430-2300. Schedule made out by manager. May be asked to orient on a different shift than what they would be assigned. - Weeknight/Call Requirements: None - Weekend/Call Requirements: None - Holiday/Call Requirements: None - What is call response time? None - Floating Requirements: None - Scrub Color: Scrubs provided, get an assigned card that allows them to pull from Scrub X.- Unit Specific Orientation: 2-5 shifts with a preceptor.Date Entered On: 8/5/2024
