We are seeking dedicated faculty for our Surgical Technology Program. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and supervision to students in clinical settings.
Your role will involve ensuring that students meet prescribed program outcomes and competency standards, while also providing support and academic advisement to facilitate their success.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering didactic and clinical instruction to students in the Surgical Technology lab and classrooms.
- Following designated course objectives and guidance from course leaders.
- Monitoring student progress and ensuring competency standards are met.
- Providing academic advisement and support to at-risk students.
- Staying current on industry trends, best practices, and research.
- Collaborating with other disciplines to promote student activities and networking opportunities.
- Contributing to curriculum development to ensure its alignment with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
- Minimum of two years of Didactic/lecturing teaching experience
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
