Pride Health is hiring a Surgical Technologist to support our client's medical facility in Michigan and other locations. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:
A Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in the operating room, assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals before, during, and after surgical procedures. They are responsible for preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, setting up the operating room, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. During surgery, they pass instruments to the surgical team, assist with patient positioning, and help maintain a sterile field. Surgical Technologists also monitor the patient's vital signs, ensure proper sterilization protocols are followed, and handle specimen collection. Strong attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential in this role. They must also follow strict safety procedures and collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
