ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Has knowledge of all slot/game's procedures and Title 31 of Virginia State Gaming Commission.
* Ensures all surveillance equipment is operating at start of shift, during shift and completion of shift.
* Maintains all logs and ensures accuracy of log entries.
* Maintains confidentiality of all Hotel/Casino information.
* Reports all incidents observed on shift to the Director of Surveillance, Surveillance Manager, or on-shift Surveillance Supervisor
* Communicates incidents to pit personnel by phone.
* Endorses the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars's Entertainment Inc.
* Operates a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to monitors casino activities and prepares reports and logs.
* Assist with training of new employees.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* One year of games surveillance experience preferred.
* Prior experience in a security, casino, or surveillance related field preferred.
* Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
* Friendly, outgoing personality.
* Must be 21 years of age.
* Ability to interface effectively with the public and co-workers.
* High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
* Be able to satisfactorily complete a 90-day surveillance training program.
* Knowledge of all Casino/Hotel operations preferred.
* Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written.

* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on an as needed basis.
* Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment.
* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
* Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
* Must be able to handle large amounts of information and take the best action necessary to correct the situation.
* Requires all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout all shifts.
* Use of office equipment and computers.
* Ongoing games protection training.
* Must be able to interact with other departments, law enforcement and court personnel.
* Must be able to obtain and possess a VA Gaming License from the VA Lottery.
