Description: Position SummaryMaintain surveillance system/network which includes but not limited to installing cameras; pulling and terminating network cabling; ensures proper operation of networked switches, cameras and associated surveillance equipment by using established troubleshooting procedures and conducting preventative maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Installs surveillance cameras and associated equipment and pulls above-ceiling cabling for new camera installs as required. Responsible for the maintenance of all surveillance equipment. Troubleshoots equipment, following established procedures and industry best-practices to maintain proper operation. Recommends to the Surveillance Maintenance Supervisor and Surveillance Manager, any required installations or replacements of surveillance equipment. Recommends to the Surveillance Maintenance Supervisor and Surveillance Manager, any needed tools or accessories to keep equipment functioning. Maintains official log of equipment maintenance activity. Completes daily activity report. Maintains confidentiality of duties, reports, investigations, and any other departmental information, at all times. Works within, adheres to, and contributes to the established operational chain of command. Builds a professional relationship with all team members and work associates, while supporting a strong collaborative work environment. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.
