Join the fun at Owensboro Racing & Gaming! We are hiring for a Surveillance Manager to lead gaming surveillance operations at our new facility, opening early in 2025. Owensboro Racing & Gaming will be CDI's newest state-of-the-art venue featuring 600 state-of-the-art historical racing machines (HRMs), a retail sportsbook, simulcast wagering, and multiple food and beverage offerings. SUMMARY The Surveillance Manager will oversee the internal functions of the department and investigations of incidents throughout the property. The surveillance manager will also assist when needed in conducting surveillance and ensuring that team members monitor operations within the department.   • Assist Operators, Shift Supervisors, Shift Managers with day-to-day operations and oversee a shift when needed.
  • Investigate all reported policy violations, act as a liaison with other departments to address violations/ Maintain a log system.
  • Investigate all incidents within the property and act as a personal liaison for departments to ensure the safety of all guests, Team Members, and property. Maintain a log system.
  • Act as liaison with external state agencies when needed.
  • Assist Human Resources with investigations when needed.
  • Investigate all variances for proper money handling and possible thefts and maintain a log system.
  • Knowledge of computer software/programs, including Microsoft Operating Systems and surveillance systems.
  • Oversee the Surveillance Tech(s) and assist in repairs, installation, and cleaning of equipment.
  • Work with Surveillance Director on documented equipment malfunctions for replacements.
  • Work with the Surveillance Director and Compliance to create or update any SOP needed for optimal operations.
  • Responsible for accurate and efficient operation of procedures within a designated department.
  • Responsible for accurate and completed reports.
  • Verify all permanently saved footage is accurate per report before sending to external departments or state agencies.
  • Working knowledge of CMS applications including but not limited to the following: Cage & Pit menu (customer status inquiries), Credit, Marketing & Players Club, and Self Exclusion display.
  • Create, edit, and maintain logins for team members for all programs needed for proper functions of their duties within the department.
  • Create and maintain logs for evidence control.
  • Coach, train, and develop Surveillance employees.
  • Maintain and verify payroll.
  • Create and maintain the schedule for shifts with the approval of the Surveillance Director before posting.
  • Must complete all required company training.
  • Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.

  • Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years surveillance experience preferred with supervisory experience
  • 5 years supervisory experience required
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
