Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Surveillance Officer to join our Riverwind Surveillance team located at Riverwind Casino.Summary:Ensures the safety of tribal assets through constant observation of all assigned areas.Responsibilities:* Provides firstclass customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines and meets needs- Seeks positive experience and outcomes- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards- May provide break coverage for others as assigned- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit* Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Prepare incidents reports to establish video evidence and perform frequent audits to protect the Chickasaw Nation's employees and assets* Update and review current list of barred and banned individuals ensuring strict compliance* Operate a closed circuit television system to monitor gaming and money-handling activity to ensure proper procedures are followed* All other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential:* Focus on a single task for pro-longed periods of time* Define problems, collect data and establish facts* Prepare role specific reportsSkills:Essential:* Must be familiar with the MS Office Suite of products* Accurately type 25 words per minuteExperience:Essential:* No prior experience required.Education:Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential:* Pass gaming background check* Pass Blackjack Test with 70 or higher* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:Essential:* Smoking - cigarette smoke* Bright and Flashing lights* Potential exposure to blue and or white light* Communications phone, computer* Communications written, verbal* Staff* Pass pre-employment drug test* Use computer up to 100% of shift* Manual dexterity* Operate normal office equipment* Sitting up to 100% of shift* Constantly work in small or cramped areas* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* Day shift* May work evening shift* May work holidays* May work night shift* May be on-call* May work rotating shifts* May work weekend shift
