DRMP's Surveying & Mapping/Geomatics Division is HIRING and we're looking for entry-level, Survey Field Technicians to join our Pensacola office.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include
* Load truck with the necessary equipment and supplies that are needed throughout the day.
* Transport and set up the instruments/equipment and prepare the job site for the survey.
* Clear brush and trees away from the survey line.
* Hold the prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points.
* Measure how far different points are from each other, using tape or electronic equipment; Help with the various pieces of survey equipment.
* Have familiarity/working knowledge of survey equipment.
* Operate the surveying equipment with the supervisor's oversight.
What you'll need
* High School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school.
* Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
* Ability to travel
* Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on the project.
* Ability to cut and/or clear brush while establishing survey lines. (machete use)
* Adequate knowledge of equipment and the ability to set up for various types of work.
* Ability to hold and proficiently use a prism pole, rods, and other measuring devices.
* Ability to lift the pieces of equipment required for a project.
