Survey Technician Pay Range: $22-25/Hour We are seeking an experienced Survey Technician. To be successful in this role you must be familiar with the latest survey technologies, robotic total stations, and GPS units. This position is primarily a field-based position but may require some office work. This position will be required to perform the following functions:
  • Perform boundary, topographic, utility, right-of-way, and existing condition surveys.
  • Utilize various survey technologies to complete projects.
  • Download and process survey field data.
  • Analyze and adjust survey control.
Skills and Experience Required
  • A minimum of two years of related survey experience.
  • Knowledge of land surveying practices, principles, and techniques.
  • Familiar with the latest survey technologies, robotic total stations, base/rover & network GPS units
  • Hands on experience performing boundary, topographic, utility, right-of-way, and existing condition surveys.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Possess a valid Driver s License and a clean driving record.
Preferred
  • An associate degree in a related field.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD for drafting and computations.
  • Knowledge of Carlson SurvCE, Trimble or TopCon.
  • Prior experience working in the Natural Gas Industry.
