Our Office Engineer provides up-to-date precise documentation to our Field Operations and Project Management Teams to ensure each milestone is properly inspected, passed, and ready to turn over to our clients, as well as assisting our clients in passing their threshold inspections. As an AISC Certified Fabricator & Erector, along with in-house certified trainers and instructors in NCCER, to include GMF Steel Group's Apprenticeship Program and QCI training, our staff is well trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of quality for our industry. Our teams are based in Lakeland, Florida but travel all throughout the Southeastern United States, working on amazing and recognizable projects. Responsibilities:
  • Support business initiatives through data analysis
  • Coordinate with various business units and departments to maximize profitability of the company.
  • Process information within specific timeframes to maintain efficiency and timeliness
  • Manage workflows to lead and organize all project-specific data and attribution to ensure consistent, complete, on-time, and accurate project completion.
  • Perform dimensional inspections of structural steel buildings during the construction process.
  • Draft and submit detailed reports outlining the findings of surveys to the Project Teams in a timely manner.
  • Represent the Quality Team in the field and ensure jobsites are adhering to GMF field procedures.
  • Audit projects for compliance with GMF inspection requirements.
  • Maintain quality records for projects and employees.
  • Provide timely and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform project evaluations for document control, scheduling, and compliance.
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Surveying experience, a plus
  • Layout experience, a plus
  • Knowledge of Trimble Robotic Total Station, a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project
  • Ability to successfully complete required OSHA training within a reasonable time period
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic understanding of commercial construction, a plus
  • Ability to set and meet deliverables
  • Willingness to travel
Salary:
  • $60,000 - $65,000/year
  • Dependent upon experience

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year SEAA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of steel industry professionals.
