We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Theideal candidate will have 2-3 years of proven experience in preparing high-quality sushi dishesin a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**- Prepare and present sushi and sashimi dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation.- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the sushi preparation area.- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
**Requirements:**- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef, with 2-3 years in a similar role.- Extensive knowledge of sushi techniques and Japanese cuisine.- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.- Certification from a culinary school or apprenticeship preferred.
