Overview:
The Svc Operator I-SS is an entry-level, field-based role responsible for providing operational support in the oil and gas industry. This position involves working in a hands-on capacity, operating heavy equipment and supporting solids control processes. The role requires mechanical aptitude, adherence to safety protocols, and a willingness to work in a rotation schedule that includes both day and night shifts. Housing is provided while on-site, with a daily per diem and reimbursable travel expenses.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment related to the service line.sist in the setup, operation, and teardown of solids control equipment as required.
- Provide support for solids control processes, including monitoring and ensuring equipment functions effectively.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with senior team members to address mechanical issues in the field.
- Follow safety protocols and complete tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Work in shifts, including days and nights, in remote field locations.
- Accurately document work performed and maintain equipment logs.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status and equipment needs.
Qualifications:
- Solids Control experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is required.
- Mechanically inclined with a demonstrated ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
- SafeLand certification, H2S Awareness certification and Forklift operator certification or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to work in field-based environments with long shifts and rotational schedules.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to operational protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction.
- Housing provided while on-site.
- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
- Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
