The Director National Sales for Flagstar Financial & Leasing will (i) assist the division heads, direct equipment, intermediary funding, and capital markets in the development of the overall sales strategy for Flagstar Financial & Leasing ( FF ). This includes market focus, product development, job descriptions and work flow design. (ii) This position will work with senior management in commercial banking to develop appropriate product and support to enhance relationship building in the specialized lending verticals and corporate banking. (iii) assist in the design and administration of incentive compensation arrangements, establish pricing targets & approve exception pricing; and (iv) Assist the division heads in recruiting new ESOs, ESMs, and accounts managers in the various business channels and assist in the onboarding and development of staff. The Director National Sales will work with the president, head of first line credit, asset management, documentation, funding and operations to develop work flows that insure safety and soundness and regulatory compliance while providing a best in class service experience for customers. Please note, the estimated compensation range for this role will be between $140,622 and $201,558 base salary, with participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, to be based on the individual's specific qualifications and geographic location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with FF senior management developing overall sales strategy for all channels including pricing, new markets, product development and job position design.
- Identify and develop new products, work flows and sales positions to support specialized lending, corporate banking.
- Assist FF division heads in recruiting and training customer facing positions.
- Assist the FF division heads in incentive compensation plan development and administration, establishment of pricing targets and oversight including approval of exception pricing.
- Work proactively with risk, asset management, operations, documentation and senior management to develop policies & procedures and work flow, that are regulatory compliant, build safe & sound portfolios and maximize efficiency while providing a best in class customer service experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Minimum experience required: 15+ Years of experience in equipment finance, including risk assessment and sales, with a track record of production and managing people.
- Domain expertise in equipment finance including specialty industry sectors such as construction, transportation and hard asset equipment financing and leasing.
