Job Description:

To manage the branches which include deposits, loans, and employees. This position also is responsible for meeting targets, account retention, customer service, staffing and staff development in the branches. Building a sales culture within the Retail Banking structure and to provide full compliance to state and federal regulatory requirements within the scope of Retail Banking.

Responsibilities:
  • Introduce the community to Patriot Bank products and excellent quality service.
  • Manage relationships to ensure profitability and customer service within the area of loans, deposits, personnel, and fee sales.
  • Build a sales culture which promotes Relationship Banking.
  • Inspire staff to participate in community service activities, groups, and Boards to represent the bank.
  • Develop programs to further enhance skills and knowledge needed for future opportunities and professional customer service.

  • Provide leadership to initiate change, influence others, build teams and represent the organization.
  • Participate within the various committee functions to formalize and manage Deposit Profitability, Bank Correspondence to Customers and Organizational Structure.
  • Provide expertise to areas of responsibility in staffing, training, development, sales, and auditing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • All employees are responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and, in some roles, OFAC regulations. Depending on your job responsibilities, more or less aspects of the regulations may apply, but at a minimum, all employees are responsible for reporting suspicious activity they identify in the course of performing their job duties. This includes activities conducted by customers, fellow employees, board members, and vendors.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of market opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workflow.
  • Detail oriented.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years of banking experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • Requires a high level of independent judgement as it pertains to decisions concerning the evaluation of performance and the adjustment of subordinate's compensation.
  • Experience with supervisory responsibilities of 4 or more employees.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management/related field or equivalent work experience.
