Reporting to the General Counsel, the attorney will be responsible for supporting the equity investments and real estate development transactions of the investment company and its affiliates. This role will be responsible for managing acquisitions, joint ventures, sales, development, construction, and financing of privately owned multifamily real estate assets. The Counsel will also manage corporate legal matters, including fund formation, compliance, and risk management.

Minimum Requirements:
- JD from a top US law school
- NY State Bar
- 7-12 years of experience within the real estate private equity legal field, managing real estate private equity transactions from start to finish (multifamily asset class), including acquisitions, JVs, sales, development, construction, and financings
- Experience must include time at an AmLaw 100 firm within real estate/private equity practice
- Experience gained in-house within the real estate private equity space is ideal
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in-office in Manhattan
