Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description: While using Enjet's combination Riveter and Swaging machine, Swage various bearings into manufactured materials to produce sub-assemblies to benefit the construction of Torque Boxes and other Assemblies sold to our customer.
- Torque Box Assembly
- Install pins and Heli-coils into Torque Box Housings
- Assemble various adjustable arms to support Torque Box Construction using fixtures.
- Qualify said arms
- Assemble Torque boxes, self check for quality and bring to Inspection.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pick up, manipulate, and assemble small detail parts.
- Must be able to use small hand tools (wrenches, pliers, etc...)
- Must be able to use powered hand tools (battery powered drill and similar tools)
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to learn to read operation sheet and work instructions.
- Must learn to use inspection gages to verify dimensional requirements.
- Must be comfortable using Riveter/Swaging machine.
- May need to use manual Bridgeport Mill or manual Lathe.
- May need to use hydraulic press.
- Must be open to working other tasks as needed (sweeping/mopping floors, deburring parts, washing parts, organizing work areas, etc...)
