Eaton Corporation Switchboard Wiring Team Lead - Sumter, South CarolinaEaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Switchboard Wiring Team Lead. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00am - 1:30pm. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.What you'll do: Promote a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by proactively addressing and resolving concerns and escalating issues to your supervisor as appropriate.Work directly with the manufacturing team to ensure that customer orders are executed in a timely and efficient manner.Review orders and associated documentation (drawings, travel documents, bills of material) to ensure the team has the appropriate information.Communicate professionally to provide updates on the status of specific orders and resolve production issues.Participate in the training and development of employees as the technical subject matter expert.Delegate tasks and align resources to meet production goals.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive assigned projects to completion.Cross train and stand in for other employees/job functions when necessary. Qualifications:Basic (Required): High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.2 years of manufacturing experience.3 months of leadership experience managing people or project teams.Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Preferred: Associate's degree from an accredited institution.1 year of leadership experience managing people or project teams.1 year experience in switchboard assembly.Experience with Eaton systems including order entry (Vista), material management (DMM), MRP/ERP (AS400).Strong verbal and written communication skills. Skills: Able to direct and influence others without formal leadership authority.Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.Proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint.Working knowledge of Lean concepts. Physical Demands:The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, and use hands. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
