Position Overview: We are looking for a driven Synthetic Turf Field Sales Representative to help build and sustain a thriving business environment in the Carolinas. As we expand into this exciting new market, you'll be responsible for cultivating and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients, designers, vendors, and other key influencers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing strong connections, promoting our brand, and contributing to the growth of our business in this dynamic region. Your efforts will play a key role in establishing our brand presence and driving business growth in the Carolinas.

Key Activities:

  • Direct an overall ‘incredible' experience for client from project conception through the full lifespan of the athletic field system
  • Identify prospective customers for field construction and maintenance sales
  • Manage a dynamic pipeline of prospects and key influencers that supports annual sales goals
  • Sales process ownership (foster trust, strategy development, sales cycle stage identification, project solutions, close sales, maintain relationship)
  • Become a trusted advisor to customers and partners
  • Achieve mutually agreed upon strategic goals
  • Participate in client interaction on construction sales, maintenance and life cycle offerings
  • Lead job specific strategic pricing
  • Effectively transfer timely and accurate information to estimating, operations, design, and procurement teams to ensure a seamless and profitable job delivery
  • Generate field proposals, scopes of work, etc.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled strategic huddles to further position TMG ahead of competition with product offerings and service support
  • Assist in development of key marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness
  • Continually develop knowledge and be viewed as an expert in athletic field construction, maintenance and industry products
  • Attend industry trade shows, client conferences, etc.

Skills Required:

  • Self-motivated and self-starting with a vision for growing the business
  • Works effectively independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and acquire a thorough understanding of the athletic field construction business
  • Strong verbal communication skills; articulate; able to build close relationships inside and outside of Motz
  • Strong written communication skills; experienced with writing proposals for products and services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled/active on social media platforms

Professional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in sales and/or customer relationship management in a complex sales environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a supporting field of study (i.e. agronomy, civil engineering, landscape architecture, construction/business management)
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and organizing project activities
  • Active participation in industry trade associations; leadership experience preferable
  • Practical experience in sports field construction, design and/or maintenance is highly preferred
