**Job Overview:**
We're seeking a Windows System Administrator / who is not just tech-savvy but also a fantastic team player. You'll be pivotal in providing both on-site and remote IT support, proficient in networked Windows domain environments, remote monitoring tools, hosted Exchange, and Office 365 among other industry standards. Your expertise in network and routing, firewalls, VOIP, and other managed service technologies will be crucial to our team. This hands-on role involves physical handling of servers from time to time as well as storage arrays an various other equipment. You must have an acceptable driving record.
**Key Responsibilities:**
•
Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations, along with other hardware and software as needed.
•
Ability to asses and troubleshoot new technical environments quickly and accurately.
•
Manage hosted Exchange and Office 365 environments as well as DNS, SPF, DKIM records
•
Demonstrate strong knowledge in network and routing, firewalls, and VOIP systems.
•
Support various vertical software solutions, ensuring seamless QuickBooks and other integrations.
•
Physically handle servers and storage arrays when necessary.
•
Provide top-notch on-site and remote support, troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues.
•
Uphold our fanatical commitment to our client's information safety, privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
•
Configure client backup systems and monitor performance and security or those systems. This includes file & folder backup systems, file-sharing systems, advanced imaging and replication systems along with data replication and retention policies.
•
Be available for emergency after-hours support and occasional after-hours upgrades and maintenance.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on Windows environments and managed service technologies and toolsets would be helpful.
- Experience with hosted Exchange, Office 365, network and routing, firewalls, and VOIP.
- Knowledge of vertical software solutions and their integration with QuickBooks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving server and hardware equipment.
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel to client sites using company car(s)
- Flexibility to work standard hours with occasional after-hours support.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+).
- Experience in a managed services or field IT environment.
