Position Summary Location: Middletown, PA - (*THIS POSITION IS 100% ONSITE*) (Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.) The System Administrator III is responsible for day-to-day operations and support of our Co-Lo Datacenter products; main focus on virtualization platforms, including implementations, upgrades and patching. This position will work day to day on site in the Middletown, PA office. This position role will focus on skills required of a Systems Administrator in an in-house or hosted environment, as well as a working knowledge of the skills required to provision, manage, monitor, and decommission services. This position will monitor events and alerts generated from Datacenter virtual products and take appropriate action. This position will monitor and maintain physical hardware within the secure environments. Job Duties / Key Accountabilities
  • Configure, maintain and troubleshoot VMware products including ESXi servers, HA clusters and Virtual Center.
  • Monitor virtual machine alerts and events and respond with appropriate action or notification.
  • Administrates Active Directory to Create, modify and terminate end users, establishes applicable controls based on user needs and their group as it applies to Servers and GMS.
  • Perform windows server administrator functions. Patching windows and Linux servers.
  • Supports SGI facilities with problems surrounding hardware and software upgrades as needed.
  • Research root cause of problems and escalate to engineering and vendor support as necessary.
  • Maintains integrity and ongoing Knowledge of AEGIS-EF online platform in main computer systems.
  • Ensure data center service levels are documented, monitored and reported.
  • Manage problem and service tickets ensuring timely resolution to meet Service Level Agreements.
  • System performance analysis including troubleshooting, resolution and reporting of escalated production issues.
  • Must have the ability to understand and relate to new products, technology, strategy and be able to follow directions.
  • Develops and maintains an issue tracker when investigating incidents
  • Develop, automate and implement best practices.
  • Institutes changes to assure compliance to company standards.
  • Defines, documents and disseminates all forms of communication relating to system materials and shares anomalies found in system's environment.
  • Participates in annual security audits.
  • Participate in Business Continuation / Disaster Recovery infrastructure planning, building, and testing.
  • Ability to work with internal team, third party vendors and customers to troubleshoot and resolve different situations.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions to share knowledge with peers and other support teams is necessary.
  • Provides excellent customer service, collaborates and communicates effectively with executive staff, department heads, management, team leaders, systems and operations departments.
  • Must be available to work outside of normal business hours to fulfill production and project needs, provide 24x7 on-call support
  • Must be able to participate in meetings, conference calls, and reporting.
  • Travel to colo Datacenters will be required when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge Required:
  • Knowledge and experience in product hardware and systems software
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Windows Active Directory, Ubuntu, Windows Server VSphere
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in computer hardware and operating systems
  • Experience using Tanium to patch windows systems and third-party applications.

  • Technical knowledge of HP technology, HP SIM, HPE Oneview
  • Knowledge of Windows scripting / programming skills
