Job Description:

As an IT Systems Administrator/Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Your role will involve working with various technologies, including Linux, PowerShell, and Office 365, to maintain and enhance our systems. You will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Linux Administration:
  • Manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security.
  • Perform regular system updates, patch management, and backups.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux servers and applications.
  • Linux/UNIX System Administration including installation and configuration, Scripting, and Networking (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.)
  • Active Directory Domain Services + Azure Active Directory + ADFS
  • PowerShell Scripting:
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of administrative tasks.
  • Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Monitor and optimize PowerShell scripts for performance and reliability.
  • Office 365 Administration:
  • Manage Office 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and groups.
  • Provide support for Office 365 applications (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 services and applications.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Assist end-users with technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and user guides.
  • Network Administration:
  • Assist in managing network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and security, and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Support VPN and remote access solutions
